Milan (Italian: Milano) is a city in northern Italy and the second largest city in the country. It is located in the Lombardy Plain.

Milan is Italy's fashion city and the main fashion hub of Italy. The world's most famous fashion companies such as Armani, Versace, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Miu Miu, as well as the famous company Ray-Ban, are located in Milan. Alongside Paris, London, Tokyo, and New York, Milan is considered a fashion capital of the world. Although other major cities like Rome and Florence are also active in fashion, Milan is recognized as the fashion city of Italy.

One of the main and interesting squares of this city is Piazza del Duomo.

Among the attractions of Milan is the Duomo di Milano cathedral, built in Gothic architectural style.

A theater called Teatro alla Scala, which in Italian means "staircase theater." This magnificent theater was built in 1778, has a capacity of 3,600 spectators, and is located opposite the statue of Leonardo da Vinci in Piazza della Scala.

The Fiera Milano exhibition and trade fair complex, built in the northwestern suburbs of the city, is the largest construction project in Europe and the complex itself is considered the largest trade fair in the world. This complex opened in April 2005.
